Join us in Celebrating the Fight Against Breast and Ovarian Cancer 
2nd Annual Embrace the Race 5k Run or Walk!

October 21, 2012 - at 7:30 a.m. - in Downtown Highland Park

Registration will Open April, 2012

The Inaugural Embrace the Race 5k was held on Saturday, October 1st at 8:30am.  We had a Successful event, with over 300 people! 180 Opted to be Timed, while the others opted not to be timed and enjoyed the beautiful day and course!  Post Race Festivities included refreshments, massages and a Health Expo.  Our Optional Fundraising Teams were amazing, but we want to Thank TEAM TEAL for their Huge Contribution to our Charity!

Embrace the Race is bringing Awareness to both Breast and Ovarian Cancers. Our 5k race will donate all the proceeds to the NorthShore Kellogg Cancer Center,  exclusively to the Breast and Ovarian Divisions of the Center.

                        Art Show
The Art Center - Highland Park will host an amazing exhibit, Voices and Visions, Standing on the Bridge Between Health and Disease which expresses the impact of dealing with breast or ovarian cancer. Our hope is to empower all of us who have been affected by women's health. 

Please join us for the Month of October to come and view the amazing works of art.
